Project: Facility Rehabilitation
The SABTC rehabilitation project was completed between August 2024 and August 2025 and followed a structured engineering and construction management process from start to finish. The project included condition assessments to define the scope of work, preparation of bid documents, contractor selection through a sealed bid process, and ongoing construction oversight. Regular site inspections were performed throughout the project to confirm compliance with the Florida Building Code (FBC) and project requirements.
Project Highlights
Concrete repairs were completed on balconies, elevated walkways, soffits, and vertical structural elements. All elevated walkways and balconies received upgraded waterproofing systems to improve durability and reduce the potential for future water intrusion. Keystone engineering maintained a consistent presence on site and performed inspections and reviews to confirm the repairs and coatings were completed in accordance with the project specifications.
The SABTC project reflects a coordinated engineering and restoration effort of the main building’s balconies and walkways and the townhome structures. This rehabilitation resulted in durable concrete repairs, improved waterproofing of walkways and balconies, and enhanced long-term performance throughout the property.
